tekak RAMAdan

Assalam semua..Salam Ramadan (dah hr ke12..baru nak bg salam wei..)
Pg2 dah blogging wei..busan sungguh..smentara tung:-):-))gu:-)) batter cornflakes ngeras dlm peti..mai mnaip jap. Ini citer bazar ramadan tempat aku...poser dah masuk hr ke12 tp smlm adlh 1st day jejak bazar..haha..utk apa? of course cr mkn lerr..sblm ni masa keja dulu tiap2 hr pi cr mkn buka x kira weekend or not di bazar. Tp smenjak retire ni, mmg mknan buat sdiri..baru tau btapa sdap masak ikut citarasa tekak kluarga n btapa meriahnya inti2 masakan n ceria jer color2 dish aku weiii...(ahak..ahaks..puji diri lorr)

Dr hr ptama till today main n side dish masak sdiri...mcm2 menu masak agar x bosan tp yg krap buat is popia..pelbagai jnis..mrhubs faveret ni..skali taram 10 pun laju lg..sahur pun leh tlan..if not kuihmuih bawa ke sahur slalunya dush trus ke tong campah...bkn nak bazir..itu pasai kuih buat cukup utk mkn ber3 n kalu lbih mmg sdekah ke jiran2 jerr..x der maknanya nak simpan2 bagai weiii..tau sgt endingnya nanti.

Ok..citer bazar smlm nak cari kuih..malas plak nak merenyah kat dapur..coz mrhubs pun slalu kata nak byr zakat fitrah..so better pi sblm terlambat or lupa. Cari kuih dpt ler jumpa stall puding n agar2 serta kuihmuih lain...tp mrhubs bkenan agar2 lorr...faveret dia juga tu. Kami pilih agar2 santan tp sib aku prasan..layer part santan tu terlalu tipis n hampir x der...lol..guaner leh ckp agar2 santan gitu rupa..agar2 kosong lg sesuai..bengang btul aku..dr akak penjual masukkan ke bkas polisterine, trus aku suh kuarkan smula...pilih agar2 lain ler syg...santan part x muncul pun..ujarku. Main lpas jer aku ckp dpan akak tu...ayo2 bniaga bkn pd qty jer ok..qlty pun mau jaga lerrr...haish gram aku tgk muka slamba akak tu..bleh lg ckp santan tu kering coz kna kipas angin masa sejukkan.
Wei kak ooi..aku ni pakar buat ler agar2 santan tu coz faveret mrhubs...harus aku tau buat (ku tepek gambo jap lg nooo). Mrhubs mcm terpinga bila aku suh pilih agar2 lain. Balik umah aku explain kat mrhubs..baru dia prasan coz masa beli td dia main pilih x tgk..n plik bila aku suh kuarkan smula kuih tu. Dlm 5biji agar2 yg dibeli ada milo, gula mlaka tu masih tselit 1 agar2 santan..baru mrhubs pcaya..(lupa nak snap gambo ler plak).

Baru aku tau naper MIL n umi aku jrg nak beli mkn buka kat bazar...rupa2nya peniaga2 ni byk main dr bniaga btul2...rasa slalu ke laut, harap rupa mcm di tmn..cantik. Rasanya mcm serik dah nak beli...buat sdiri pueh ati..tp apakan daya buat isteri2 yg bkerja..apa sgt pilihan yg ada, jem lg kna tempuh..kul bepa sampai, so pilihan mmg bazar ramadan ler jawabnya espc utk pencuci mulut kan...fhm sgt situasi mrk ni :-(

Btw mcm tu ler juga pniaga2 bazar ramadan dpt rezeki kan..if not tang mana nak laku mkn mrk kalu org2 bkerja ni x do..erm gitu arr cycle ekonomi kita.

Ok..cukup cloteh..meh tgk dish2 aku spanjang poser ni..hehe..

dr atas: puding roti, samosa roll, chessy crabstick popia, bread pizza n agar2 santan (itu gambo pinggan nak bg jiran), popia telur n baked macaroni n cheese, sago melaka n cara manis n berlauk.

ada menu yg berulang, idak ler tiap2 hr lain kan..bkn aku pakar masak n dapursmua brg ada..slalunya aku ikut brg yg ada, baru aku buat. Ok chow...citer udah abihhh

TEFAL


sblm citer pasal mkn2 santai di Garden Lifestyle Store & Cafe baru2 ni citer jap pasai cuti hujung thn..actually dpt cuti sempena hujung thn..cuti ni pun sebab nak clearkan cuti yg x der lar byk mana pun..dlm 7 hr jer terlebih frm AL yg mmg x byk tu..so sblm kna burn mcm tu jer..maka dah diberi pluang utk amik cuti better amik lar kan..so hr jumaat 28/12 n 31/12 dpt ler bercuti...since cuti bersambung dgn weekend n new yr public holiday..ada ler smuanya dlm 6 hr...so me n mr hub decide utk balik kg saya-pekan, phg n kg dia -sepang.

as usual kalu balik kg pekan, sharian berlalu mmg mcm x cukup jer..mcm2 yg nak dibuat dgn mlayan karenah anak2 buah ksayangan....fuuh penatnya trasa sgt..tp happening, x boring n juga karenah atuk yg smakin tua smakin pelupa membuatkan aku, kakak n ibu x henti kpenatan..ditambah pula perangai ayah yg kdg kala buat prangai tuanya yg akhirnya kami ber-3 tense sdiri...huhu. nasib mr hub pandai bawa diri bila balik kg...x byk karenah nak mlayan dia cuma kali ni mr hub x sihat..perut masuk angin n almost demam. ksian dia...

new yr kami berada di sepang...nothing much to celebrate..siang kami ber2 kuar ke alamanda, putrajaya. jenjalan cuci mata...n not to forget mencari kuali tefal ku yg umi amik..actually umi beli dr aku tp rega murah ler..coz aku dah x ingat rega asal...so who cares kan..jual kat ibu sdiri, rugi skit apa lar salahnya...so di carrefour dpt ler kuali tefal idamanku..kuali bertelinga kali ni coz kuali fry pan dah ada 1, rasanya cukup satu n another one mmg nak cari sgt kuali tefal wok pan n dgn penutup..snang nak mengoreng bagai.


         

naper minat sgt dgn kuali tefal ek?? herm sebabnya pernah satu ketika nak buat kerapu sweet sour..goreng ler ikan kerapu yg agak mahal tu dlm kuali biasa...sblah atas lawa jer..tp bila nak balik kan ikan tu...alamak sudah melekat daaa...superb nya kulit tertanggal n bersepai isi ikan...huhu...bila siap, dah x rupa ikan pun..mcm ikan kena lenyek langgar lari jer...ksian tgk nak present bg mr hub mkn pun x cantik dah...sib baik cover dgn sambal sweet sour tp still nampak juga isinya yg beterabur tu...sedih jer. lpas dr tu trus cari kuali tefal and e' best part ada sign when to start cooking tau..baca bwh yer:

CHEZZY/RAISIN bread??

ME: erm by rasa tekak nak mkn benda2 manis lar syg...
MR HUB: nak roti manis?
ME: roti manis ada raisin bleh? (sambilsenyum kerang bucuk..)
MR HUB: bleh..ada ke raisin?
of COURSE ada...me penggemar raisin...mmg slalu kalu nak cuci mulut x der benda manis nak mkn raisin ler jd bhnnya...

so ptg itu akibat dr kerajinana mr hub yg luar biasa..maka terjadilar roti dibwh..kami ltak bhn2 yg ada..so dpt ler cekau cheese balance2 n raisin sbagai penghias roti home made mr hub - mmg 100% air tgn mr hub..so kna mention lar kan nanti ada yg mrajuk lak..hehe.

macaroni CHEESy

olahan menu hasil idea dr bhn2 yg sedia ada dlm fridge tua di umah tu..huhu. slalu buat cheese baked macaroni – which sauce putih tu made frm fresh milk + cheddar cheese tp oleh krn ikut bhn yg ada jer dlm peti sejuk tu maka jd ler macaroni baked topping with mozarella cheese….btw sedap n berselera juga mr hub…

tress MENU’s

last weekend selangor dpt cuti tambahan pd hr isnin sempena birthday sultan selangor..so cuti pjg skit n me n mr hub relax di rumah shj..kami x kuar kemana2 cuma pd hr sabtu kami ke perpustakaan negara utk bertemu seseorang – wedding deal nya tempahan..tp alangkah hampa..brg tempaha masih x siap n still till today x siap..ada skit bengang dah skrg ni Steaming mad. lpas dr tu kami ke central market..merayau x tentu pasal tgk hasil craft yg dijual disitu utk kami buat comparison on certain things yg kami nak jual di wedding buss kami. then ahad isnn kami cuma memerap di rumah..enjoy e’ days as much as we can.

so bila dah melepak kat umah kna lar memasak kan…as usual my menu is simple jer..even pg, tgh n mlm.

ni menu pg ahad..scramble egg – tlur, bawang n tomato beserta air kopi semug..air favorite mr hub siang mlm ni, kopi 434, muar mari..x jumpa dimana2 supermarket di kl.

mini ni x cukup utk share berdua so stiap sorang dpt 2 mini sosej ni – alhamdullilah kenyang. n di bwh ni lak menu mlm hr kerja week lepas..try again buat kuey teow kung fu/ladna yg bersalut telur tu..kata mr hub bkn stakat salut tlur tp juga tepung tu yg kuey teow tu rasa crunchy..ya ker? lar x bgtau awal2..dah buat x dpt lar amend dah..so mkn jer ar..nxt try will do that ok mr hub. apa2 pun meriah ingeredientnya ikut tkak n bhn2 pun ada..mesti lar e’ best kasi taruk kan..tu yg untung mkn masakan sdiri..cuma sdap x sdap lar kan Laughing out loud

MARBLE cheese brownies

sorry..ini gambar curik dr google sources ya..pinjam dr sesapa yg pernah buat resepi ni coz aku pun buat n hasilnya sbijik mcm ni dr segi gambar ler…rasa..erm wallahuallam.

ini resepi tambahan utk raya hj yg lpas..bawa lik umah mentua. dpt skit pujian dr mentua n adik ipar..MIl siap kata x buat utk jualan hantaran org kahwin ker? or tidak..blum sampai tahap tu..n blum mempunya masa yg terlebih utk buat smua perkara dlm 1 masa. x terkejar nak menggubah dgn mengadun brownies lak..mau tunggang terbalik umah den nanti. me bkn bleh tgk rumah bersepah..darah bleh naik n mulut cepat nak membebel sambil mengemas. mr hub x suka so baik buat ikut kmampuan diri so insyaallah smua bleh take care dgn berjayanya.

resepi ni dulu aku amik dr rinchann fotopages. tp aku guna bhn2 simple n unbranded dr kedai bakery jer…so kalu sesapa nak buat jual tlg pakai bhn2 yg berkualiti tinggi ya..sure hasilnya SEDAP sesangat Fingers crossed

lamb ANYone??

teringin nak mkn lamb sesangat tp kalu tgh2 bulan mcm x larat nak korek kocek kasi kuar note merah berkeping2 utk isi tekak yg teringin ni, so other alternative is buat sdirinya lamb chop dgn kos yg rendah…..beli ler yg lum masak n marinate n panggang sdiri..

spt dibwh…nampak mcm hangus tp sdap menjilat jari..mr hub pun abis mkn..lapar n sdap..x kan x abis…x yah pakai sos sgala..cili sos botol pun dah kow2!!

my own version of doughnut…recipe frm mr hub inherit frm MIL…bg sepinggan kat jiran sblah..edap lembut katanya…hehehe hati udah berbunga tp almaklum baru lpas goreng kan..cuba tgk after 1 hr…btw still ok lembutnya..mr hub habis dlm 7ketul..me 2 ketul pun dah kenyang..not my fav..

cookies all e’ way..my FAV

I love cookies so much espc cookie associated wif chocolate chip, raisins and cornflakes. this lately I’m always visiting subway for a dinner or lunch treat wif mr hub..so most of e’ time I will take a set burger for me which includes drink+burger+cookies/fries…so I opt for cookies – 2 cookies n this set cost me around rm15++.

I have tried dark chocolate, white chocolate and oatmeal raisin cookies…n yes its so good to my taste buds. its so rich n creamy….love it so much n it won in my favorite list!! so for this weekend I jump in surfing for e’ recipe n finally found this blog wif a videos on how to do it wif step by step…very ez n simple in a clearer  way to understand, however this does not mean i ‘m a baker/cooker but will try 1 day. besides I found 2 other cookie recipes too..so I’m going to paste it here..for my remembrance.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butter, softened (please do not melt the butter)
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 3 cups 1-minute oats
  • 1 cup raisins

1 cup butter, soft
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup (unsweetened) cocoa powder
2 cups dark or semisweet chocolate chunks

Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla and mix until smooth.
In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder. Working with the mixer on a low speed, gradually incorporate flour mixture into butter mixture until well combined and no streaks of flour remain. Stir in chocolate chunks.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough (approx 1″ balls) onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
Bake for 11 minutes at 350 F, until set and just firm at the edges. Cookies should still appear moist. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 4-5 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.

Makes about 4 dozen.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.

  2. In medium bowl combine flour, soda and salt. Mix well, set aside.

  3. In a large bowl with a mixer blend sugars at medium speed. Add butter and mix to until it forms a grainy paste, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and vanilla, and beat at medium speed until fully combined.

  4. Add the flour mixture, macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips, and blend on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Move immediately to cooling rack.

ITALYian dishes..

as per informed earlier for our little invitation cum small open house – we hv decided to hv an italian menu..so e’ menu are fettuccini carbonara, spaghetti Bolognese, pizza, fruit cocktail n ribena as a drink. simple only….but almost end of e’ day I still need to fried some bee hoon due to my fettuccini finish before my indian fren-MANI is coming….she not eating meat that is e’ reason y I’m preparing e’ menu (my 1st trial too) but e’ menu get a great sambutan frm e’ guest…finish early… hehe n huhu at e’ same time bleh? kena masuk dapur again n masak…lucky I hv seafood pizza to top up wif e’ fried bee-hoon…huhu ksian my dear fren Mani..sorry for e’ simple dish.

however me forgot to snap a picture for all my dishes prepared that day…well hv few but in blur captions…tiring of cooking lead me to no mood to do all e’ photography session..rather to sit down n chit chat wif my guest n entertain them…lg bagus n afdal kan..plus slalu kuar masuk dapur..basuh membasuh apa yg patut…if not sapa mau buat…ha kjang kaki jap..so for advice if buat open house mmg ler patutnya org pakai polisterine/paper plate yeerk.. guest start coming around 3pm after friday prayer n finish at night around 11pm..lucky its my BIL..so still ok…coz do not hv to entertain them much…juz play a lot wif my nieces…

so this is my 2011 menu invitation for raya….erm bleh ar, but at last I realize I’m not even test e’ fettuccini carbonara…hwa..wa..wa Sad smile… herm x per ar..yg penting tetamu dpt mkn..n makanan cukup…tuan umah nak mkn buat smula yerk.
